The Concept
It is important to research the concept to discover how many people have done this before. If you determine your product or device is viable and has a commercial potential then the next step is to determine the key technologies and complete an initial product specification.
Incubation
Design
This is the actual design of the hardware and the writing of the firmware which makes your product or device operate. Included in this is the design of all fixtures and enclosures required to house the printed circuit boards. It may also mean the operation screens; user interfaces/input mediums and what is displayed to operate the devices.
Incubation
Prototype
To verify the product operates as intended, rigorous testing of the prototype is carried out. This may include bench testing, environmental testing, user testing and certification testing, plus system level verification of the hardware and firmware.
Incubation
Certification
We know you want your idea presented in a way which is perceived as safe and friendly. We get all the appropriate testing authorities to provide the necessary certification, giving you peace of mind, knowing your product is safe and fit for use.
Incubation
Manufacture
With the product now designed, developed, tested and fully production ready, Masters and Young can provide you with the facility to manufacture high volume units to supply into the market.
Incubation
Support
Of course the story doesn’t end here. Having taken the product from concept through to manufacture, it’s important to map the products life cycle, provide ongoing support, and continue with product refinement or modifications in response to market needs.
